The short version
CollabBill is a free, browser-based workspace for creators and independent professionals. Use it for your real business records, keep backups, and understand that it is a record-keeping tool — not an accounting system, payment processor, or legal advisor.
No warranty
CollabBill is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. While it is built carefully, browser storage and local files can fail or be cleared — you are responsible for maintaining your own backups via the export feature.
Your documents and records
- Documents you generate (invoices, receipts, credit notes) are records you create and are responsible for.
- Tax amounts, withholding, and profit figures are informational calculations based on your inputs — they are not tax or legal advice.
- Payments recorded in CollabBill reflect payments you have received through your own channels; CollabBill does not process or verify them.
Acceptable use
Use CollabBill for lawful business purposes. Do not use it to create fraudulent, misleading, or illegal documents.
